Responsibilities:
- Install solar panels on roofs or other structures according to specifications
- Connect solar panels to electrical systems and ensure proper wiring and grounding
- Perform basic electrical work, such as running conduit and connecting wires
- Use power tools and hand tools to assemble and install solar panel mounting systems
- Plumb and seal roof penetrations to prevent leaks
- Collaborate with team members to complete installations efficiently and safely
- Follow all safety protocols and adhere to industry standards
Requirements:
- Previous experience in solar installation or a related field is preferred, but not required
- Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems and wiring
- Familiarity with power tools and hand tools used in construction
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues on-site
- Forklift certification is a plus, but not required
